Jared Bystrom, CSW
Jared retired from a career in law enforcement where he worked in juvenile and adult corrections, as a patrol officer, detective, hostage negotiator, metro narcotics officer, and supervisor for over two decades. He is a US Marine veteran who served active duty during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (2001-2006).
Jared has worked as a licensed clinician for the state of Utah and has years of experience working specifically with troubled adolescents with behavioral issues, veterans, first responders, couples, and those suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, faith crisis, and addiction.
Jared has a wide range of relatable experiences and diversity in life, with a huge heart and capacity for empathy, compassion, and understanding. He is passionate about helping others to healthy paths of happiness and functionality in life.
Jared speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian and enjoy the outdoors, travel, reading, sports, jujitsu, working out, church, family, and people in general.

Jared received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
