Kelly Bowen: LCSW, CCPS-C
Kelly Bowen, LCSW, is a therapist at Healing Paths who specializes in betrayal trauma, infidelity, compulsive or problematic sexual behavior, and relationship healing. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Her approach draws from CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, trauma-specialized therapies, the Gottman Method, and IFS-informed work, allowing her to tailor therapy to each client’s or couple’s needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
Together with clients, Kelly works to make sense of what they’re carrying, process difficult emotions, and understand the patterns keeping them stuck. Over time, that work builds toward something bigger—the return of self-trust, the quiet confidence of knowing your own mind again, and relationships that feel steady instead of uncertain. She believes that even in life’s hardest seasons, there’s still room to laugh at the messiness along the way.
If you’ve experienced betrayal, you know the disorientation it brings: replaying conversations for clues you missed, feeling crazy for still being upset when everyone says it’s “handled,” and wondering if you’ll ever trust your own perception again. That confusion doesn’t have to be permanent. Clarity and steadiness are possible, and Kelly specializes in helping clients get there.
As an APSATS-trained Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Candidate (CCPS-C), Kelly provides trauma-informed, partner-sensitive care grounded in safety, clarity, and truth, never rushing clients toward forgiveness, reconciliation, or a decision before they’re ready. As a Certified Clinical Disclosure Guide Candidate (CCDG-C), she also guides couples through structured therapeutic disclosure following betrayal or infidelity. She also works individually with clients navigating compulsive or problematic sexual behavior, including sex and porn addiction.
Outside of the therapy room, Kelly is a mom and a Utah native who treasures time with family and close friends. She loves being outdoors—Utah summers and open skies feel like home, and the ocean has a permanent pull on her. She’s a foodie who loves discovering new restaurants, especially in big cities. You’ll otherwise find her traveling, hammocking, playing a card or board game, car dancing to a good song, drinking an ice-cold Dr Pepper, or eating red licorice—the only acceptable kind, in her opinion.
